Darrel Collier is the Executive Director of National Association for PET Container Resources (NAPCOR), the trade association for the PET plastic packaging industry in the United States, Canada and Mexico. NAPCOR is dedicated to promoting PET packaging; to overcoming hurdles to the successful recycling of PET; and to communicating the attributes of the PET container as sustainable packaging. Prior to his role at NAPCOR, Mr. Collier worked as a consultant in synthetic fibers and PET packaging industries. Darrel began his career at E.I. DuPont and for more than 25 years was involved in DuPont’s fiber and polymer businesses after receiving his Chemical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. Mr. Collier and his wife, Mary, currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina
