Bill's professional experience includes 25 years working in the packaging industry. He Is Currently President of Purple Diamond Testing Services. Purple Diamond is an Independent Facility Specializing in Product and Packaging Design, Engineering and Testing celebrating 20 years in business.

He has held the titles of Procurement Manager, Packaging Research Manager, and Adjunct Professor & Senior Packaging Engineer.

In Addition to these experiences he has in the past held the positions of President / Owner of a third-party package testing laboratory, Procurement Manager / Packaging Engineer Corporate Buyer for NAFTA Packaging Procurement at BASF Corporation. Senior Packaging Engineer- Gillette Corporation and Laboratory Research Manager & Adjunct Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a professional member of ASTM D-10 packaging sub-committees, ISTA and is also a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals. Prior to his packaging career, Bill spent ten years in the plastics and converting industries.

EDUCATION:

Bill holds M.S. & B.S. degrees in Packaging Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
