The past five years have seen tremendous and applaudable efforts to increase rPET PCR content in rigid packaging. We have seen ambitious brand commitments, infrastructure investments, trade flow changes, and massive public debates over all things related to recycling. This presentation will examine where are we in 2026, and what the paths forward could look like for the rPET value chain. Included will be an unbiased examination of rPET collections, consumer participation, domestic infrastructure, trade dynamics, economics, and what might be reasonably expected by 2030.
