Brendan Ihde, Business Development, manages business and supply chain development activities for Virent focused on feedstocks and bio-based chemicals. An engineer by background, Brendan spent most of his career in several oil and gas and petrochemical roles supporting various industrial, consumer, and agricultural applications. Brendan’s primary focus today is bio-based chemicals, specifically bio-paraxylene (bio-PX) into PTA and bio-PET applications.
