Joe Riconosciuto is director of materials marketing and recycling for Republic Services, one of the nation’s largest recyclers, which processes 5 million tons of recyclables annually. Joe’s team is responsible for connecting customers with recycled commodities. He has been instrumental in development of the company’s Polymer Centers and recently announced Blue Polymers venture, which are designed to advance plastics circularity and meet the rapidly growing demand for recycled resins in consumer packaging. Joe joined Republic Services in 2016 and has 22 years’ experience with recyclable commodities, material handling and logistics.
