PureCycle has invested in identifying and executing partnerships with industry leaders and organizations to help bring our patented, solvent-based purification process to market. PureCycle has a goal to produce up to one billion pounds of PureFive™ Ultra-Pure Recycled (UPR) resin and accelerate the circular economy for plastics. From manufacturing processes to sustainability efforts, we understand the value of strategic partnerships across the plastic production chain. 

At PureCycle, we build on existing ideas, so that we can scale faster, run more efficiently, and increase productivity. We have implemented a digital plan, so we aren’t weighed down by outdated concepts. For example, PureCycle has partnered with Gulfspan in Texas to centralize the building of our plants. This allows us to use a “copy and paste” method for our plant modules. This replication approach for multiple production lines at one site will speed up the building process, decrease operating costs, improve efficiency, and enhance safety. 

Additionally, our partnership with Emerson means we can leapfrog to the latest generation of automation technology, employing virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence, so projects can be completed faster and operate with world-class performance.  

PureCycle understands that strong supply streams are the result of cultivating relationships. We are building a robust infrastructure to support the recycling of a broad array of plastics. Our regional preprocessing (“PreP”) model is designed to locate feedstock PreP centers in areas near the source. This model will foster a collaborative network and help to expand the collection and reclamation of all plastics.

PureCycle has joined the U.S. Plastics Pact, an effort to unite public-private stakeholders and advance the circular economy for plastics. The organization brings together companies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government entities, and others to work toward scalable solutions to the plastics waste crisis. Currently, we are working with the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council to develop a solution for today’s landfill-bound healthcare plastics, supporting the work of the Polypropylene Coalition and Association of Plastic Recyclers, to divert more plastic waste from landfill and to further increase recycling rates across the United States.
