Dr. Wei Zhang has been the Senior Material Scientist with PTI for the last 7 years. Wei represents PTI at APR sitting on the technical committees for PET, polyolefins, and PE film, and participated in development of several APR testing protocols. She had extensive experience with various materials, including bio-based & bio-degradable plastic, barrier technologies, and mechanical & chemical recycled plastic. She works with major brands to help them design their packages for sustainability. Provides both high level consultation and detailed recyclability tests.
