Eric Roegner is president of Amcor’s (NYSE: AMCR) Rigid Packaging business, a $3 billion business based in Ann Arbor, MI, and is a member of the company’s Global Management Team.

Amcor’s Rigid Packaging (ARP) business is the world’s largest supplier of plastic PET containers and closures for the food, beverage, wine and spirits, healthcare, home and personal care markets. As president, Roegner is responsible for all operations, sales and research & development for the business, which spans 12 countries, 60 plants and 6,000 employees. Under Eric’s leadership, ARP is focused on improving safety, profitable growth, sustainability & recycling efforts, operational efficiency and cash flow.

Prior to being named president of ARP in September 2018, Eric spent 12 years at Arconic Inc., (formerly Alcoa Corporation) in a variety of roles including executive vice president and group president of Arconic Engineered Products and Solutions, a $6 billion business focused on aerospace, defense, automotive, commercial transportation, energy and packaging. Before joining Arconic, Eric was a partner with the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and held engineering positions with Nordson Corporation and Schlumberger Limited.

Eric holds a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering from Princeton University. He also serves as vice chairman of the Processors Council for the Plastics Industry Association, a leading U.S. plastics industry trade association.
