Many flexible packages used for food and beverage packaging suffer from poor options for end of life and most often end up in landfills or worse yet leaked into the environment as litter. Danimer Scientific is working with film manufacturers and converters to produce packaging materials for brand owners that can be composted along with food waste, offering a better end of life option for these types of packages.
